Indranil Datta joins the race The upswing in the fortunes of Indian Archery went a step further when Indranil Datta joined the race for the coveted post of International Judge from India.

The Jadavpur University-qualified engineer was the latest to be nominated by the FITA as an International Judge Candidate, which, in effect, placed him a step away from becoming the next full fledged International Judge from India.

Indranil along with two other Indian entries appeared in a test conducted by the FITA at Weisbaden in Germany (October 23-25). Indranil, who had become a Continental Judge a few months earlier, came through with flying colours and was elevated as the IJ Candidate.
